The integration of MyEcoVille™ and Re-TRAC Connect™ is achieved through EcoPoint™. EcoPoint is a re-use and recycling directory that is included with each MyEcoVille subscription.
EcoPoint is a re-use and recycling directory that integrates with Google Maps to enable residents to easily find facilities and learn about upcoming events. The EcoPoint directory is powered by Re-TRAC Connect. Each time a Re-TRAC Connect user creates a contact or event, they have the option to make it available in EcoPoint. Once created, residents are provided with contact information, the list of materials that are accepted at the specific location, hours of operation, as well as directions on how to get to the location. As users of Re-TRAC Connect maintain their contacts for multiple purposes, the EcoPoint directory listings are kept current. This is the most highly valued feature of MyEcoVille according to a customer poll. With this easy-to-access information, residents are empowered to increase local recycling rates.
