What is software as a service, and do I have to install anything?

Re-TRAC Connect is an easy-to-use web-based system that is delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS). We host the software application, and license the software to you. You do not have to download or install any software programs or files. You can access your account from anywhere, at anytime, using a web browser and an internet connection.

Some of the many advantages of Re-TRAC Connect, and the SaaS model, include:

  1. We maintain the application, server, and security so you do not have to worry about required hardware or operating costs.
  2. There are no implementation fees for the Re-TRAC Connect Free and Tracker accounts.
  3. We provide all maintenance services and technical support.
  4. You receive free regular updates and enhancements (typically released each month), on an as available basis, as we continually improve the software for all users (the updates happen automatically so you do not need to download or install anything).
  5. You get to join peers with similar goals in the Re-TRAC Connect community.
  6. Low annual cost makes it easy to budget, and the Re-TRAC Connect Free account is free!

What web browsers work with Re-TRAC Connect?

Re-TRAC Connect can be accessed by all web browsers including Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome, and Opera. For optimal performance, we encourage you to use the latest version available of your web browser of choice. If you are using an older version web browser, you may not be able to view the full graphical user interface of Re-TRAC Connect.

How is my data protected?

Your data is stored safely and securely. Our computer servers are protected by 24-hour surveillance, password access locks, redundant connections to the internet, and fire suppression systems. Our network is protected by a firewall, and all Re-TRAC Connect accounts include SSL encryption. We implement a strict policy of controlled access to any information stored in hard-copy form.

Do I have to sign a long term contract?

No. Re-TRAC Connect is purchased as an annual subscription. There are no long term contracts or commitments.

What types of payment do you accept?

Currently we are able to accept a P.O. or invoice your organization. We are working towards offering secure, online payment by credit card in 2012
